Molyvos beach
If you have been looking for those sparking clear azure seas that they show you in the guidebooks you will find them here and some privacy too. The sea is usually calm and it is sandy and shallow. The view of the castle is great from the water.
Tsamakia
Tsamakia is an organized sandy beach in the town of Mytilene. It is the most easily accessible beach for those that have chosen to stay in the island’s capital. The beach offers many amenities, including umbrellas, sunbeds, showers and beach volley. Tsamakia lies underneath the homonymous grove and the beach itself is surrounded by quite a few trees.
Skala Kallonis
The wonderful long sandy beach and the colourful port are the focus of this tranquil resort, and Skala Kalloni’s position on the edge of the bay means it boasts exceptionally warm protected waters, and therefore perfect conditions for both swimming and active water sports.
Tsichranda, Kalos Limenas
This scenic harbor has one of the most beautiful and best organized beaches on the island,it’s a popular destination for Greeks and foreigners alike. It offers modern luxury hotels and a huge variety of choices for food and recreation.Its sandy beach is lined with cafés, bars, ouzeri and clubs.
Pedi beach
Pedi beach is located a few kilometers outside Mandamados on the road to Mytiline. You can find it after Aspropotamos beach on Makris Gialo's bay. Pedi is one of the most popular beaches in Lesvos because of the fine sand and clear, shallow waters.
Xrisi Ammos
Xrisi ammos is a private beach, but you can have access to it during the summer. The beach is one of the most beautiful and exotic one's on the island and every year is visited by lots of tourists.
Tsonia
It is located near Kleio's village. It is a beautiful beach with crystal clear water and red sand in an area of 500m. It's definitely the ideal choice for someone who wants to relax, enjoy the sea and drink ouzo.
Palios beach
Palios beach is located a few kilometers outside Mandamados. It is a quiet and picturesque beach overlooking Tokmakia isalnds. You can find it on the road after the Monastery of Taxiarches.
Skala Eresos
A beautiful 4 kilometer-long road lined with mulberry trees and poplars takes you from the mountain village to its seaside settlement, Skala Eressos (also called Yialos). The fragrant plain or kambos of Eressos extends before you with its tidy gardens and holiday homes.On your left is Vigla hill and behind that is historic Xokastro in the most privileged spot with the best view in the area. On the right is the rock with the chapel of the Prophet Ilias, and between that is the stunning beach with much to offer. The water is cold and crystal clear, and the beach is 2½ kilometers long with fine greyish rice-like grains of sand that won’t stick to your skin. On the beach you’ll see the Blue Flag of Europe, which awarded to the cleanest seas and beaches in the Mediterranean.
Kohilia
It's the ideal destination for a short break from the city life. Our favorite beach bar, with lots of people having fun and relax combined with the clean and beautiful beach will get you in the mood for summer.
Haramida
Haramida despite its proximity to the Mytilene airport and town it is a generally undiscovered picturesque location by foreign visitors to Lesvos. During the summer season is well known for its beautiful and clean sea. The beach is one of the most organized on the island with canteens and beach bars, so that you can spend a pleasant time and enjoy swimming.
Melinda
Melinda is an alluring place, visited by thousands of tourists every summer. It is a wide beach with clean golden sand and mirror-like waters.
Güney kiyilari
Gera körfezinin batı tarafında, Kalloni körfezinin batı ucuna kadar adanın en güzel sahillerinden bazılarını bulacaksınız. Mükemmel kuma sahip olan Tarti’deki kapalı kucaktan başlayarak, daha büyük, altın kumlu Agios İsidoros’a ve büyük çakıl taşlı ancak daha küçük olan Plomari ve Melinta sahillerine devam ederek altı kilometrelik Vatera kumsalında son bulur. Bütün bu yerlerde barlarla tavernalar bulabilirsiniz, ayrıca şemsiye ve şezlong gibi sahil teçhizatı da vardır.
Kuzey ve bati kiyilari
Çakıl taşlı sahilinde yüzeceğiniz muhteşem Molivos’tan başlayıp, dükkanların önündeki Petra’nın büyük kumlu sahiline ilerlersiniz ve muhteşem Anaksos’a, oradan da biraz ıssız olan Ampelia’ya devam edersiniz. Filia İskelesi veya diğer bir deyişle Tsihranta güzel deniz ve yemek sunar, ancak Skalohori iskelesi – Kalo Limani’de bulunan iki tavernada özellikle Lesvos yemekleri tatmak için gideceksiniz.
Güney kiyilari
Gera körfezinin batı tarafında, Kalloni körfezinin batı ucuna kadar adanın en güzel sahillerinden bazılarını bulacaksınız. Anaxos
Sahil yolu Avlaki’ye doğru devam eder, biraz ileride ise adanın en güzel sahillerinden birine sahip olan Anaksos bulunmaktadır. Oradan özgün köyler Skoutaro – Filia – Skalohori – Anemotia’ya devam edebilirsiniz; bu köylerdeki binaların geleneksel mimarisine hayran kalacak ve kahvehanelerdeki gerçek köy hayatını tanıyacaksınız.
Plaja Termi
Midilli’den Mantamados’a doğru giderken Thermi yakınlarındaki (12 km.), tavernaları ile kafeleri olan organize sahil Kanoni’de yüzebilirsiniz. Devam ederseniz, organize küçük beldeler olan Mystegna İskelesi, Nea Kydonia İskelesi veya Baltsiki (Balçık) ile daha ıssız sahillere sahip olan ve yine aynı şekilde gölge ve yemek için tavernalarla kantinlere sahip olan Ksampelia, Petalidi ve Pedi’ye rastlarsınız.
Vatera
Sekiz kilometre uzunluğunda ve tamamıyla organize olan Vatera sahilinin kumu biraz kalın, gri renklidir ve birçok restoran ve kafesi olan sahil yolu boyunca uzanır. Belde turizm amaçlı kurulmuştur ve temel olarak kiralık odalar, oteller ve birçok yeni sayfiye evinden oluşmaktadır. Uçsuz bucaksız sahil – birçok kişiye göre adanın en güzel sahili -, hem yüzüp hem de müzik eşliğinde içkinizi içebileceğiniz güzel barlar ve temiz sular adanın bu ucuna gelmeniz için kesinlikle iyi bir nedendir.
Agios Ermogenis
This small picturesque bay hides one of the less known beaches of Lesvos. Agios Ermogenis charms the visitors who come here to enjoy the sea in tranquility with its crystal clear green waters (taking their color from the pine trees surrounding the bay) and its golden sand.
Agios Isidoros
Agios Isidoros is a village in the municipality of Plomari, Lesbos. It has a unique pebbled beach which is one of the longest in Lesvos and voted as The 7th best beach in Greece due to the safety provided, the clean water and care for the environment.
Tavari
The beautiful village of Tavari attracts many tourists, as it is popular for good food and relaxing atmosfere. If you visit Tavari you will be excited by the virgin beaches of Podaras and Xrousos,
Sigri
In Sigri, there are located a few beautiful sandy beaches. The best one is Panagia Faneromeni. Sigri could be considered as the ideal destination for relaxing family holidays close to the nature and the sea. Also it is one of the best fishing spots in the island, and a good choice if you like surfing.
